Fuel Saving Tips

Tyre Pressure - always make sure your tyres are inflated to the correct psi for the type of vehicle and tyres being used. Having insufficiently inflated tyres increases fuel consumption.

Shock absorbers - have your shock absorbers checked. Worn out shock absorbers affect performance and safety and will also lead to increased fuel consumption.

Servicing - Keeping your vehicle regularly serviced lengthens the life of your vehicle and improves performance, reliability and fuel economy. Looking after your vehicle also helps it retain it's value. A car for private use should on average be serviced every 6 months or 10,000 kms. Dirty, old air filters put stress on the motor and increase fuel consumption.

Getting your vehicle serviced will also identify anything likely to become a problem - which could save you money in the long term.
